Emily loves that Liam can sit up and crawl. She loves to talk to him and play with him.

Charlotte is the first person Emily asks for when we see Jamie's family. She loves her "LaLa" which is what she calls Charlotte.

Cubs Win!

Tyler and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on July 15. We went with Heather and Todd to a cubs game in Chicago to celebrate. We had never been to a night game before.

Camping Trip with Nana

Nana took Charlotte and Jack on an overnight camping trip last week. They had a great time swimming, playing at the park, and riding the golf cart to get ice cream.

Liam took a bath with his cousins for the first time the other night at Nana's house! He is getting so big....sitting by himself and crawling.

Emily's 16 month checkup

Emily went for her 16 month checkup at the Pediatrician on Wednesday. Here is how our girl is measuring up...

Weight: 26 pounds (90th percentile)
Height: 33 1/4 inches (97th percentile)

The doctor commented on her tan and said that normally she would question a mother who brings a baby to the office with that dark of a tan. However, since she knows that I am a stickler for 50 SPF sunscreen she thought her tan was beautiful!

Jackson 3 1/2, Emily 16months

Our little kids are getting so big! Jackson is riding his bike all over the neighborhood and is quite the water lover. He doesn't care if he is in the neighborhood pool, in the kiddie pool in the backyard, on the boat, or at the sprinkle park. As long as there is water he is happy.

Emily is very curious and busy. She loves exploring and loves to run and play. She thinks she can do anything big brother does. She is saying more and more words everyday. Em is just a happy, beautiful little girl! She has decided to call Charlotte "LaLa" and loves to watch everything Charlotte does.

Sorry it took me so long to update the blog....time flies.

Fourth of July at Lake James

We took Lynn, Tina and family and Ashton on the boat for the fourth.... Emily wore her American flag bikini.

She likes to just float on the water (with daddy's help)

Dan took Jack on his first motorcycle ride around the campground. He has now started calling his bicycle a motorcycle.

We love camping. My family did it growing up and some of my best memories are of boating and camping on the weekends. When we stay home on the weekends Tyler and I always find work to do around the house or errands to run. When we camp we get to leave all that behind and just play with our kids. We are lucky that my mom goes with us and Tyler's family is right across from us. Memories in the making at the campground during the summer.

Fishers Parade

Every year (this is the 3rd annual trip) we go with Carol and Michael Stanton to the Fishers parade. We had a great spot to watch the parade and get lots of candy!

Pool Time

Jackson has always been a little swimmer and Emily is starting to like the pool as well. She still prefers playing in the baby pool.

Dirty Kids

We think Emily looks so different in the bathtub without her curly hair around her face. It seems like we are having to throw the kids in the tub every night since they get so dirty playing in the summer sun!

Camping

We have been doing a lot of camping over the past month. I feel so bad that these pictures are from memorial day and I am just posting them. We had a great time camping for the long weekend and celebrating my birthday. Jackson is now an avid fisherman and caught his first sizeable fish!

Emily got more time with her counterpart, Nana.

She always eats well and sleeps well at the camper...all the time outside wears her out!

Emily's little friend Piper came to visit with her mommy and daddy, Todd and Heather. Big brother Griffin came to jump in the kiddie pool and play with Jack.

Quality time with G and G Blevins. They bought a golf cart to haul the kids around! Emily and Jackson love golf cart rides...especially when they get to go for ice cream at the campground store.

Brad Kauffman also came up for a night. He was in Indiana from L.A. for the Indy 500. Jackson loved Brad since he is just a big kid like Tyler.
