Jackson's first tube ride

Jackson loves the tube! He had a great time his first time out!

Lake Norris, TN

The weekend after we got back from Ottertail we went to the lake in Tennessee with Jamie, Tim, and Charlotte. Jackson and Charlotte swam like fish. Jackson figured out how to dunk daddy! Quality time for mommy on a pontoon ride.

Emily was great! Being the second baby, she just has to roll with the punches and go wherever Jackson and Charlotte are!

Ring around the Rosie in the water

Emily's first swim

Emily got to swim in the lake for the first time at Norris. She loved kicking her feet, but got tired quickly.

After swimming she would pass out on the boat. Nothing beats a boat ride to put kids to sleep!

Ottertail Parade

On the Saturday we were in Minnesota there was a parade in town. All the kids left the lake and went to the parade until it warmed up enough to swim. They threw out enough tootsie rolls to feed an army! All the kids came home with a bag full of candy

Kiera brought her purse for her candy

The candy in those bags makes it look like Halloween....the weather was about the same as October, too.

More Wedding pictures

Sorry I'm a little behind schedule for adding these pictures from Kayla's wedding...better late than never! Kiera and I dancing...

Jackson danced with Emily right before we left

Kayla's Wedding

We drove 800 miles with 2 kids to attend my cousin Kayla's wedding. Everyone had a blast and it was great to get to introduce Emily to the family and meet Jill's newest addition, Tristan, seen here with Grandpa Randy and Brady. Emily liked the lights from the DJ

Jackson liked the cake, but thought they should turn the music down a little.

The kids just gravitate to Tyler....we all know why. He is just a big kid! Here he is with Kendall and Karly, my cousin Travis' kids.

Ottertail Lake, Minnesota

Jill and Russ' little girl, Kiera, was too cute! I'm jealous that she is only 18 months and already potty training. Jackson has no interest! It was too cold to swim in the lake so they shared the kiddie pool in the front of the house where there wasn't as much wind off of the water.

Jackson and Harris

Harris is my cousin Travis' youngest son. He is 3 1/2 and he and Jackson really hit it off! Harris went up to his grandpa and said "Jackson is a dude just like me!!"

This photo was definitely posed....

But, believe it or not, this photo was not. Jackson sat down with his blanket in the chair to watch a movie and Harris jumped right in the chair with him. They are both thumb suckers!

Ottertail Swimming

The weather in Minnesota didn't cooperate while we were there, but that didn't stop the kids from swimming! If it's warm enough for the ducks to swim, the kids can too!

Libby and Karly jumped right in! Notice that their mom, Karsen even has on a sweatshirt!

Jackson didn't even wait for us to get his swimtrunks on! He just jumped right in! He was probably excited to be out of the car after our 13 hour trip!

Random Bedtime pics

Here are some pictures taken right before bedtime in their jammies.

Emily's Baptism

We had Emily baptised on Sunday. I got her dressed that morning before church and when Jackson came downstairs and saw her in her gown he said "Baby Emmy is a princess!" The Stromberg side at the cookout afterwards....even Grandma Mayer was here for the occasion. Jamie's baby bump is growing!

And the Blevins side.....
Emily and her great grandma

Tyler's brother and sister, Lynnette and Lynn, were the sponsors at her baptism.

Daddy Time

The other night Tyler was sitting with Emily in her room while I packed and Jackson jumped up on his lap and said "Take a picture, Mommy!" Then of course, he wants to see the end result the minute I take it. Emily was really smiling! Here's another with Jackson's forced smile...

Jackson loves to get into the crib with Emily when she wakes up from a nap. He is always so careful with her.
