Big Brother

Jackson thought the guitar at Josh and Amanda's new house for his Guitar Hero game was a fun toy.

We never know how we are going to find Jackson laying in his big boy bed in the morning. Last night he was turned around with his feet at the head of the bed. We figured he will grow to be a big kid so we just moved him into a queen sized bed instead of a twin.

One Week Old

It is hard to believe she is one week old already! She is a very good baby and Jack is being a very patient and gentle big brother.

Family of Four

Jackson met his new baby sister last night. I don't think it has sunk in that Emily is coming home with us, but he thinks it is pretty cool to come see her at the hospital.

Introducing Emily Lynn

Our sweet Emily was born this morning at 10:30. I was scheduled to be induced today, but started having contractions last night. After coming to the hospital, I was already 7 cm dialated and had her in just a few pushes! She weighs 8 pounds 9 ounces and is 21.5 inches long. We can't wait to introduce her to her big brother and will post more family pictures once he meets his little sister.

Tackle!

Jack's babysitter lives right next door and he loves playing tackle football with her oldest, Kaleb. Kaleb has 2 younger sisters so he treats Jack like the little brother he never had! It's been nice enough to get outside now which makes for a very tired little boy at the end of the day!

Daddy's new camera

Daddy got a new camera that takes action photos over a few seconds. This is Jackson running and carefree....little does he know that his world is going to change in a couple of days.

Mommy's ready!

I am officially overdue as of March 8th. The plan is to have this baby Wednesday if not before. The doctor has me scheduled for induction on Wednesday morning so we should know whether Jackson will have a little brother or sister by the end of the day Wednesday!

Buddies

Now that Jackson has moved to his big boy bed he and Charlotte like getting into the crib to jump and play. We're still waiting on this new baby to arrive! I am due on Sunday, March 8th and the doctor says anytime so keep watching for the official arrival post!

Nana's new house

Well, it's official, Nana has bought a new house! It won't be ready until the end of March, but it is perfect for her! Her house in Bluffton finally sold and everything is moved into storage until this house is finished. It's a little bittersweet moving out of the old house, but we are very excited that she will be settled here in Indianapolis with us. Josh and Amanda are closing on their first house tomorrow, too. Lots of news for the Stromberg side of the family!
