Sorry It's Been so long!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post! I haven't been taking as many pictures lately and we've had a busy month! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

On Thanksgiving day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Blevins house and Jackson got to ride in a tractor again. Once they were finished with a row, he would tell Uncle Bob "again, again". Whenever we talk about uncle Bob, Jackson always refers to him as "Bob Tractor".

We went to Fort Wayne to celebrate Jonah's first birthday with Jill, Jeremy, and Aiden. Clete and Jennifer's boys Lleyton and Cohen also came to the party. After a long night, the 4 boys sacked out to watch cartoons in bed.

We officially have pizza at least once a week now. Daddy seems to be a pushover for Jackson's favorite food! He always eats well, but when it is pizza night he goes overboard!!
It's getting harder and harder to take a good picture of Jack. The minute I get out the camera he wants to look through the pictures on the screen instead of posing for a pic. Most of the pictures now have him reaching for the camera!

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween Jackson was a puppy and Charlotte was a ladybug! Tyler was in charge of the camera so this was the only shot we have of the two of them together. I'll get a few more from Jamie and post them later...
Grandma and Grandpa Blevins came down for the evening to see Jackson in his St. Bernard puppy costume. Notice that in every picture he has some sort of candy in his hand. He figured out pretty quick that carrying around a pumpkin got him the candy he wanted.

We were amazed that he didn't mind the outfit. I thought for sure he would want us to take it off immediately, but he kept it on for over 2 hours without any complaints.

Go Notre Dame

Daddy left us at home on Saturday to go to the Notre Dame game with his buddies. Notre Dame lost, but Tyler still had a good time!

Carving Pumpkins

Daddy did a great job on the pumpkins this year! Of course, Jack wasn't much help, but he watched for a while and likes the finished product.

Double Trouble

We went to Charlotte's house after the pumpkin patch and the kids took a bath together. Jamie had to take cover under a towel and clean up of the bathroom after they were done was more of a chore than washing the kids themselves. Monkey see, Monkey do is their motto these days. If Jackson starts splashing or screaming in delight, Charlotte isn't far behind and vice versa.

Pumpkin Patch

We went with Jamie, Tim, and Charlotte to the pumpkin patch. It wasn't a very nice day- only 45 degrees, but we bundled the kids up and braved the cold.
Nice pose, Tim. Of course, this was done on a dare from Tyler.

Hayrides were not as exciting to Jackson as the tractor that pulled the wagon. After his tractor ride last weekend, he just wanted to ride with the driver.

Pony rides were a hit!

Sorry, Jamie, I didn't put a picture of the lady (or was it a man) that led the horse around.

There was also a petting zoo with chickens, bunnies, donkeys, pigs, and sheep.

Both kids had a great time playing in the corn!

Tractor

After pointing out every tractor he saw in the fields on Sunday, Grandpa and Uncle Bob took Jack on his first combine ride!

At first he started out driving with Uncle Bob.....

He lasted down the field and back so they decided to try another row....

Jackson ended up falling asleep on the last 10 minutes of the ride.

Our Little Cowboy

On Sunday, we went to Aunt Lynette and Uncle Bob's farm. Jackson got to ride horses with his cousin, Ashton.

Jackson likes to call the horses "neighs"

Grandpa and Grandma had him for the afternoon while mommy and daddy went to get the boat out of the water. It was a big day for our little boy!

Daddy is holding on pretty tightly since this horse is a little bigger than the rocking horse he likes to ride at home.

Michael's Birthday

On Saturday night we went to Stanton's for Michael's birthday.
Aunt Jamie, Uncle Tim, and Charlotte were there as well as Nana, Uncle Josh, and Aunt Amanda.

Jackson was double fisting his and Charlotte's milk. Trust me, he doesn't normally drink out of a pink sippie cup unless Charlotte is around.

Coloring

Jackson loves coloring! Anytime he sees crayons he thinks he needs to create another masterpiece. It keeps him sitting still for a while anyway which is good for mommy!

Like all kids, Jackson knows the word "more", but he finally knows the word "please", too. Now it's just trying to figure out what he wants more of....in this video he wants more colors of crayons!

Bobcat Rides

Last weekend, we rented a bobcat to help level out our backyard. Jill and Jeremy brought their boys down so Aiden and Jackson could play in the dirt.

Jack and Charlotte

Jack and Charlotte get more fun to watch interact with each other everyday. Of course, they still want only the toy that the other one has, but most of the time they play nicely and feed off of one another. If one is running around the house the other is not far behind!

Last Camping Trip

We've already closed up the camper for the year. Jackson had a fun summer at the campground. The last weekend we went it was very cold at night...thank goodness for the furnace! There was no stopping Jack from going outside to play in the morning so we just had to bundle him up!

He loves playing in the dirt with Aiden.
later that day, the campground had an early Halloween where the kids got dressed up and went trick or treating from camper to camper. Jack can't say "trick or treat" yet, but figured out that simply saying "please" got him the candy he wanted. Of course, I took pictures, but I'm going to make everyone wait until Halloween to see his costume!

Mowing the Lawn

Jackson loves mowing the lawn. I'm sure this would warm grandpa Larry's heart since we was such a stickler about the way his lawn looked. We hope this love of mowing continues into his teenage years, but we know the chances of that are slim.
He has his own mower and follows his daddy around the yard.

He loves it when daddy carries him while he mows. It is a good workout for Tyler, too.

Parade

This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago, but I figure better late than never...Charlotte went to her first parade in Ossian for their local festival.

Jackson's buddies Aiden, Leyton, and Cohen were there to watch the parade, too.

Happy Birthday Griffin!

Griffin turned one this week and since we were in Bluffton for the Street Fair we got to go to his party! The blue icing from the cupcake was everywhere!! The cupcakes were blue and red in honor of the CUBS!!
Charlotte in her party dress! The daddies went to the Colts game so they couldn't make it to the party.

One of the rare moments that Jackson sits down these days and we actually got it on camera. I had to bribe him with a balloon!
