Ottertail Swimming

The weather in Minnesota didn't cooperate while we were there, but that didn't stop the kids from swimming! If it's warm enough for the ducks to swim, the kids can too!

Libby and Karly jumped right in! Notice that their mom, Karsen even has on a sweatshirt!

Jackson didn't even wait for us to get his swimtrunks on! He just jumped right in! He was probably excited to be out of the car after our 13 hour trip!

Random Bedtime pics

Here are some pictures taken right before bedtime in their jammies.

Emily's Baptism

We had Emily baptised on Sunday. I got her dressed that morning before church and when Jackson came downstairs and saw her in her gown he said "Baby Emmy is a princess!" The Stromberg side at the cookout afterwards....even Grandma Mayer was here for the occasion. Jamie's baby bump is growing!

And the Blevins side.....
Emily and her great grandma

Tyler's brother and sister, Lynnette and Lynn, were the sponsors at her baptism.

Daddy Time

The other night Tyler was sitting with Emily in her room while I packed and Jackson jumped up on his lap and said "Take a picture, Mommy!" Then of course, he wants to see the end result the minute I take it. Emily was really smiling! Here's another with Jackson's forced smile...

Jackson loves to get into the crib with Emily when she wakes up from a nap. He is always so careful with her.

Emily-Almost 5 months!!

She is changing daily! Here are some random pictures...

Me and My Kids

Jackson loves telling secrets, but he tells us the same secret every time.

Emily just giggles when we kiss the back of her neck.

She thinks she is big stuff when she stands now.

Splash Park Pictures

Jackson loves going to the splash park and mommy and daddy like it because we don't have to get our swimsuits on and join him. He just runs around and has already fallen down a million times. Good thing his knees are rough and tough from the other spills he has taken.
He struts around like he owns the place.

We love our camera....it takes good action photos.

Doctor's Appointments

We have two healthy kids on our hands. Emily is 36.5 inches long and 17 lbs. 11 oz. She is off the percentile charts and is about the size of an average 50th percentile 8 month old in both height and weight. She is a happy baby!

Jackson is also a big, healthy boy. At 2 1/2 years he weighs 36 lbs 6 oz and is 38 3/4 inches tall. He is in the 97th percentile for both height and weight. The doctor loved hearing that he likes salads and carrots for dinner as much as macaroni and cheese or peanut butter and jelly.

More 4 month pics

Emily is now rolling over and enjoying her tummy time. She has figured out it is a lot more interesting to look around on her tummy than lay on her back and stare at the ceiling.

Piper and Emily

We went to the 4-H fair in Bluffton this weekend with Jamie and Charlotte and Heather and Todd and family. This is the only time I got my camera out (I am definitely slacking). Griffin, Charlotte, and Jack were napping so this pic of Emily and Piper is it for the weekend. I'll try to do better next time! This picture accurately shows how much Emily has grown lately. They both got their diapers changed and hadn't gotten their pants back on yet. Look at the rolls on those thighs!

Happy Birthday Tim!

We had Katelyn and Stella (our college bound neice and her friend) come down and babysit the kids while we went to Tim's suprise birthday party. A good time was had by all and Jamie did a great job planning. She even hired a DJ who played only 80s music. What we didn't know is that he came complete with mullet hairdo!! Tyler made Tim "The Fagin Slapshot" which is a hockey stick with 3 shot glasses attached to it for all 3 Fagin brothers to take a shot together. It was a big hit and by the end of the night the servers at the bar even wanted to take shots with Tyler since he made the contraption.

Here you go, Betsy! I take requests from the Hunt family about blog content. Jane wanted to see more Charlotte and Betsy just wanted to see a pic of herself. Jamie's baby bump is growing!

4 months old

Our little girl is now 4 months old. We will take her on tuesday to the doctor for her checkup and will let you know her size then. Jackson also goes for his 2 1/2 year check on tuesday. We started feeding Emily cereal last week and this was her reaction. They say that cereal helps a baby sleep, but I don't think they meant that they should fall asleep eating it.

4th of July Weekend

We went camping over the 4th and Grandma and Grandpa Blevins brought their trailer to the campground, too. Grandpa's twin brother and his wife and Lynn and Tina and family came along, too. Jackson spent a lot of time with Grandpa.

Emily spent a lot of time with Grandma...

Our favorite addition to the campsite is a tractor tire that Dan brought for Jackson. Then the campground filled it with sand for us. He spent the majority of the weekend there when he wasn't swimming, catching frogs with Daddy, or at the park with Mommy.

Our Blevins boys playing cornhole

Fishers Parade

We went to the Fishers Freedom Festival parade. Emily wasn't so sure about the sirens and loud music so she just laid around looking pretty.
Jackson loved the tractors and fire engines. He waved to everyone. .

Carol and Michael Stanton went with us. This is a yearly event for us to go together and then get some greasy fair food!
