Sprinkle Park

The sprinkle park is a big hit because I don't have to get into my suit to supervise like at the pool! The fact that it is really close to the house doesn't hurt, either. The only downside is that it closes at 7 and when I get home from work at 5:15 that doesn't leave much time after supper. The kids love it, though.

Lake Trip

Tyler and I took a trip to the lake in Tennessee in Mid-June with Jamie and Tim and 4 other couples...NO KIDS! It was a great time! We are hoping to make it a annual event!

First Camping Weekend

We finally made it up to the camper this past weekend. The weather just hasn't been nice on the weekends or we had plans to do something else so this is the latest we've opened the camper... Jackson and Mommy got into a water fight! Jack caught his first fish! It was a big day and Jackson was more patient fishing off the dock than Tyler was! He is so proud of his catch!

Emily actually sat still so I could get a pic of her and daddy. This doesn't happen too often!

Trip to the Children's Museum

We went to the museum a few weeks ago with Jamie and Charlotte....Jackson loved the dinosaur exhibit. We started there and ended the day there, too. Emily got very messy playing in the water!

They have an Indy car there for the kids to play in...it's really hard to get a good picture with both 3 year olds looking at the camera!

Charlotte spent time by the trains while Jackson was at the Dinosaurs....she wasn't a big fan of the dinosaurs.

Emily was patient as usual while the other kids looked around...

Liam and Charlotte pics

I haven't been taking many pics lately so I had Jamie forward me a couple of her kids....Here are some of Liam and charlotte! Liam just turned 6 months and Charlotte turned 3 yrs on May 3.

Liam's Baptism

I didn't get any pictures of Liam's baptism, (since I was chasing kids around trying to keep them quiet while Tyler took pictures for Jamie and Tim,) but we did manage to get a few family shots afterwards at dinner. Of course neither of them is perfect, but it's hard to get both kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time.
Emily is always interested in what her big brother is doing!

Back to the Zoo

I have been taking a few days off here and there to spend with the kids. We have been to the zoo a couple times already. Here is Emily looking into the shark tank where kids can pet the sharks. It is Jack' s favorite part of the zoo so we have to start our visit there and go back before we leave again. I didn't get too many pictures this time. I find that I don't have enough hands to get my camera out when I take both of them to the zoo on my own! They are always so tired when we leave! Here are a few pics from the ride home.

Playing in the Yard

We added a paver patio to our backyard over the last few weeks....it got pretty messy and muddy out there so Emily was banned from going into the back yard for a few days...she was not happy that Jack was allowed out there with daddy and she was not. However, Jack got down and dirty with his mud boots in the dirt piles daddy was providing!

A few days before the project began, Emily was walking around in the back yard and getting into anything she could find! She went from crawling to running in no time flat and is now on the move. Grandpa Jack came over the other day and couldn't believe how she is on the go at all times and is into everything!

She looks adorable in this outfit! Congrats to my cousin, Aftin, and her husband Josh on their new baby girl....see what you have to look forward to!

Shedd Aquarium

While we were in Chicago visiting Katelyn we also made a trip downtown to Shedd Aquaruim. Jackson thought it was great! His favorite part of the zoo is the sharks so we knew he would love it! Emily was just amazed at all the action and colors!

College Visit

We went to see Katelyn at Elmhurst College in Chicago in April. Grandma and Grandpa went with us....here are a few pics of Jackson swimming in the pool and Emily walking the halls of the hotel with Grandma

Indy Zoo

Our camera ran out of batteries for the Stromberg Easter gathering so I will have to get some from Jamie.....here are some pics from our trip to the zoo on Monday. Jamie, Nana, and I took the 4 kids and had a great time seeing the animals and watching the dolphin show... Liam had the best seat in the house! Look at those cheeks!

Charlotte was disappointed that the carousel was broken! We will have to ride it twice next time!

Jackson loved the Sharks!

Emily did really well and napped for the last 20 minutes we were there! We had wonderful weather and even had to put sunscreen on the kids!
